This project that has been going since mid 2010. The cracks of it is that it revisits my jazz apprenticeship and earlier influences with some current trends that perhaps reflect some innovation; as a result the music employs traditional swing as well as even 8ths groove.

A list of the tunes from the forthcoming album includes: Mingus Ashes in the Ganges, Eastern Blues, Antique Land, Spaced Out, Silk Road, Heaven 7, Old Times New.

Both Aaron Flower and Hugh Fraser contribute compositions; so this is much more a band concept than a soloist with a band; we workshop and develop ideas together.
